The Charles River meanders its way through Cambridge and Boston. Along and near its banks lie several of the world’s great learning and teaching institutions. Every day thousands of ideas are debated in the halls, classrooms, gardens and cafes of these universities. Many of these thoughts profoundly change the world, others are more transient. This blog is inspired by those streams of conversations, often serious, sometimes silly, but with the hope of always being interesting and making us think about the issues and ideas that affect our world.
